How the service works
ChangeNOW’s standard swap flow receives one cryptoasset and sends the resulting asset to an address you supply. It draws liquidity from other venues. This differs from maintaining a trading balance; the optional ChangeNOW Pro account is a separate service with its own custody conditions. Prepare a wallet that supports the receiving asset and network before requesting a quote.

What determines your cost
Compare the final receiving amount for the same input, networks and quote type. A classic rate can change while the transfer is processed. A fixed quote has deposit timing conditions and can price the exchange differently. Network and liquidity-provider costs affect the route, so a headline service fee alone is not a fair comparison. Keep enough funds for the sending wallet’s transaction charge.
When to consider it
This workflow is relevant when you already hold crypto and want to exchange it into a supported receiving wallet. It is not a promise of anonymous or uninterrupted execution: risk checks can pause a swap and request identity or source-of-funds information. Read refund conditions before sending, and save the order reference and blockchain transaction identifier. An irreversible transfer should not be used to test an unverified network.
