Current verification guidance requires a new Turkish Republic identity card. Nordic residence support is not individually confirmed, and a foreign passport alone does not meet this process.
Official source - Last checked
Availability refers to ordinary individual accounts at the named service. Residence, citizenship, identity checks, local bank requirements and sanctions can change eligibility. A country absent from a restriction list is not treated as confirmed support.
How the service works
CoinTR documents spot trading together with Turkish-lira deposit and withdrawal routes. The local banking step is central to this workflow. An account eligible for a particular TL transfer route should be evaluated separately from a visitor whose funds start in another currency.
- Holding and withdrawal model
- Exchange-held balance; withdrawals on supported networks
- Cost components
- Monthly-volume spot tier plus TL banking and onward transfer costs
- Useful starting point
- Eligible users comparing Turkish-lira funded crypto trading
What determines your cost
Spot execution uses maker and taker rates with VIP conditions linked to monthly activity. Lira deposit and withdrawal terms are published separately. Any currency conversion before funding, or crypto network withdrawal afterwards, adds another component to the total transaction.
When to consider it
Confirm your account's TL banking access and current trading tier. Map the route from your original currency through the trade to the intended destination. Compare the final amount after bank, conversion and withdrawal costs rather than the spot rate alone.
Read current fees, supported products and account conditions on the official website.
