How the service works
Avanza’s Swedish service centres on securities and investment accounts. When considering a crypto-linked certificate, read the instrument’s key information and issuer terms: your holding is a financial instrument, not spendable coins in a wallet. The product’s trading venue, currency and structure matter alongside the broker. A familiar underlying asset name does not make two certificates equivalent.

What determines your cost
Avanza provides selectable commission classes aimed at different trade sizes. Compare the applicable percentage and minimum for your actual market; a domestic stock example is not a price promise for every instrument. Add the bid–ask spread, possible currency conversion and the product’s ongoing charge. Small repeated orders and one larger order can have materially different total costs.
When to consider it
This route is relevant when you want to evaluate crypto exposure within a Swedish securities portfolio. Check which account may hold the exact instrument and how that account is taxed under the applicable rules. It does not serve the same purpose as buying coins for payments or self-custody. Before committing, compare the issuer documents and the cost of selling as well as buying.
