How the service works
Coinmotion provides a euro-based service for buying, selling and holding cryptoassets, with separate bank and cryptocurrency transfer flows. To withdraw to a bank, cryptocurrency first has to be sold for euros. An external crypto transfer follows a different route. Coinmotion’s custody documentation describes how customer holdings are recorded; an account balance is not the same as a personal recovery-phrase wallet.
- Holding and withdrawal model
- Custodial crypto account; euro bank exit or supported external crypto transfer
- Cost components
- Account/asset-specific commission, bank or crypto transfer and optional services
- Useful starting point
- A euro-based crypto purchase with a planned bank or wallet exit
What determines your cost
Check which asset selection and customer price schedule applies. The published fee page distinguishes the main selection from the Additional Selection service, and Swedish customer cohorts from other accounts. Volume discounts therefore should not be assumed for every trade. Include the sale commission when planning a euro withdrawal, plus the bank-transfer or asset-specific crypto-transfer charge and any optional custody service.
When to consider it
Research Coinmotion when a euro account and a straightforward buy–hold–sell workflow match your needs. Decide first whether the final destination is your bank or your own wallet, then verify that exact asset’s transfer support. Compare the full round trip using the schedule assigned to your account. Keep the executed trade price and fees, since a general market quote is not your transaction receipt.
