Availability refers to ordinary individual accounts at the named service. Residence, citizenship, identity checks, local bank requirements and sanctions can change eligibility. A country absent from a restriction list is not treated as confirmed support.

How the service works

Luno operates through supported country services rather than a universal global account. Its Exchange order books and instant-buy flow are different products. Available pairs and funding currencies depend on the country, and new registrations can be restricted even where an existing service operates.

What determines your cost

Instant transactions use a quoted conversion with their own pricing components; Exchange trading has a separate tariff. Country-specific deposit and withdrawal conditions also matter. A fee example for one country should not be used as the assumed price in another.

When to consider it

Check country and registration eligibility before comparing prices. Choose either instant buying or the Exchange, then use that local service's tariff and funding method. Confirm whether the pair and withdrawal route match your intended transaction.

Read current fees, supported products and account conditions on the official website.
